PRINS MAURITIUS

This Dutch sailing vessel went down in 1657. She was supposedly carrying settlers to New York and a Governor for Delaware. The Prins Mauritius was also supposed to have treasure aboard. She was sunk off Fire Island NY and has never been located. According to SHIPWRECKS IN THE AMERICAS by Robert Marx all of her crew and passengers were rescued by local indians.
