Florida Keys Dive Center is located just a short drive (about 70 miles) from the Miami International Airport. Yet, in that drive from the city, through Everglades, into the Islands, you are transported to a paradise of warm waters and swaying palms. In the Keys, we are located at the north end of Plantation Key (Ocean side). This is about midpoint between Key Largo and Islamorada. What a bonus when trying to decide which seafood restaurant you wish to feast!

Even more important than food (we think at least) is the vast range this location gives us to dive. You can experience the first underwater national park, Coral Reef State Park (formerly John Pennekamp Park)and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Explore throughout the Conch Reef System or Crocker Reef System. We can even venture all the way down to world famous Alligator Reef.

In addition, we have some of the best wrecks in the world right here. Come dive with us the USCG cutters "Duane", "Bibb", the freighter "Eagle" and the new "Spiegel Grove."

Aboard our boats, Little Dipper and the proud Mother Ship Goody III, we can offer something to please everyone. You can experience many Reefs and Wrecks. If you are into photography, we can offer some of the very best still and video locations in the entire world right off the front of the boat. We also welcome lobstering and spear fishing from our boats in areas that are not protected.

Florida Keys Dive Center is a full retail operation with a wide selection of snorkel and dive gear and apparel. We can also put together great deals on purchasing full gear packages, or just occasional odds and ends (when did you last check your fin and mask straps?) We have one of the best selections of dive shirts in the Keys. Even more, we have Certified Repair Technicians to handle any last minute repairs to keep you on track and diving!

Florida Keys Dive Center also has a full staff of Instructors and Course Directors to handle any PADI Instruction you may need such as Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water and Advanced Open Water Courses, Rescue, Divemaster and 24 different Specialties. We also teach 9 PADI Instructor Development Courses throughout the year followed by our famous Resort, Retail Pro Instructor Course.

Ocean Divers offers daily dive charters to the reefs and wrecks of Key Largo. Our full-service facility is located directly on the main canal of Port Largo, so travel time to dive sites is reduced. Most sites are less than 30 minutes from our docks. Our charters depart at 8am and 1pm. We have regularly scheduled night dives on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Tanks and weights are included with our charters, and we have both air and Nitrox, for rental or tank fills. Our rental equipment is Scubapro.

Ocean Divers is a PADI 5-Star Career Development Center. We offer training at all levels; from the Discover Scuba (Resort) course, which allows non-divers to "dive right in", to complete Instructor training to prepare you for a career as a diving professional.

Ocean Divers offers custom dive/lodging packages with the Marina Del Mar resort, which is adjacent to our facility.

Ocean Divers is open 364 days a year (closed Christmas day). Store hours are from 7:30am to 5pm EDT daily.

Our second location - Ocean Divers north - is the first US Scubapro Adventure Store and is located at Mile Marker 106.

Ocean Divers visits the newly turned upright wreck of the Spiegel Grove 5 times a week. We also offer the PADI National Geographic Certification!
